It all began as an act of love for Klair's two young girls, ages 4 and 2. "Following the birth of my second daughter, I wanted to give them both something special and handmade to have as their very own," recalls Klair. "I decided that my passion for baby blankets was the place to start and my talented mother was the one to recruit for the job, so we went in search of beautiful and unique fabric for our blankets. We had so much fun making them and everyone loved the blankets so much, including the girls, that we decided to make more…. That is how Jen Klair Kids was born."

They have also added a popular nursing/maternity wear line for mom to pamper herself while shopping for the kids. Klair and Hodson are also supporters of a local charity organization, Binky Patrol that provides blankets to babies in need. Jen Klair Kids offers a discount and free shipping to customers who buy a blanket to donate to the group. Binky Patrol is an all volunteer, national, non-profit organization that distributes handmade blankets to children born HIV positive, drug-addicted, infected with AIDS or other chronic and terminal illnesses, those who are abused, in foster care or experiencing trauma of any kind. It is a wonderful organization that truly cares about the well being of children.
